One day, Randy accidentally showed up at our day shelter for the homeless downtown. He was at the wrong address. However, the Compound was actually exactly where he needed to be.
After hearing his struggle with addiction, we could see the potential for his life. He entered recovery and started working with one of our employment partners.
Randy flourished at Taproot Landscaping, finally reaching one year sober.
Today, Randy’s face lights up when he talks about the rich life he now enjoys with family and friends – all from meeting the right people at the wrong place.
